Overview

In the Spring of 2025, AIS conducted a Pulse Survey to gather insights from our global community on how recent policy and geopolitical changes may be affecting IS scholarship, training, funding, employment, and travel. As a professional association dedicated to supporting IS scholars and scholarship worldwide, AIS is committed to inclusivity, diversity, and broad participation across regions and perspectives.

In light of evolving developments—particularly around topics such as diversity, equity, inclusion, sustainability, and international policies—AIS has taken a measured, consultative approach. This includes engaging with peer associations, global leaders in our field, and our members to better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our community.
